Volume II
Coordination, Ownership and Control
Ten papers on why every adviser can be right and the family can still end up wrong.
Volume II moves from the architecture of risk to practice. Drawing on anonymised cases from private-client and family-office work, it looks at capital divided between wrappers, an opportunity set shaped by the infrastructure beneath it, ownership separated from authority, and family structures that outlive the people who understood them. It develops the Self-Governed Family Office (SGFO): a way for families to keep ownership of the architecture while buying the specialists they need.
Written for advisers, trustees, family-office practitioners and others responsible for complex family capital.
